In 2021, Dr. Robert Patty, Michael Denton, and Jon Jensen came together to crystalize their shared expertise and passion for lean constructability with deep experience in power generation facilities and real estate development.  

The combined expertise spans mega projects, institutional, big firm, heavy industrial, real estate development, and design/build.

President & Partner

Michael A. Denton

Master of Science in Petroleum & Engineering, Master of Economics

With over 45 years in mega energy project design and construction, Mike leads the
Company’s primary objective and vision in power generation development.

Experience

Halliburton Production & Facility Advisor for the following fields: Kuwait Bahrah, Ecuador
IGAPO, Malaysia Bayan, Romania Asset VIII, Nigeria OML29, and Algeria Amassak.
Multimillion-dollar projects included compressor and pump stations, electrical grids, fluid
separation, and water purification.

Chevron Assurance, Interface, and Risk Manager for Angola LNG (ALNG) facility in Soyo, Angola. Aligned shareholders - Chevron, Sonagás, BP Exploration, Total, and ENI on the $9.2 billion LNG project. Identified risk and interfaces for the multidiscipline teams.

Project Role

Manages multi-discipline teams in our major capital projects, facilitating decision analysis, value-improving workshops, project and program road map development, value engineering, lean construction, risk register and mitigation plan, primary system and major component work breakdown structure, master scheduling activities, duration, sequence, and resource loading.

4 decades in major commercial and mega industrial project EPC, the last 2 fundamentally improving project delivery operations. Including:

  • Recently led breakthrough feasibility stage engineering for utility-scale baseload renewable power production from the Gulf Stream Current near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, and the Agulhas Current, south of Durban, South Africa.

  • Lauren Engineers & Constructors, Exe VP of Operations: procurement, project schedule & quality control, safety, constructability, and lean; on power and chemical process plant projects in the US, Canada, and the 1st solar power plant on the grid in India.

  • Kellogg Brown & Root worldwide Constructability Technology Chief and Lean Program Manager 

    •  Major projects included the Ras Tanura DOW-Saudi Aramco Petrochem $23B; a 48 to 52” LNG Pipeline at $10B; PDVSA-Chevron LNG Plant $3B, where I facilitated teams saving $1.2 B mostly by securing schedule.

Project Role - Program Engineer

Align cross-discipline experts, front-end-loading flow planning, and execute highly reliable lean
design, construction, and operations. Procurement by relational competitive partnering. Lean task packaging, flow execution EPC, and task level commitment and execution transparency for meeting targets.
